Soldier of Fortune 2 -where's the gore ?? -
I just installed this for my girlfriend's son and there's NO GORE !
Is it only in multiplayer? Is there a command to enable it (I don't see it in the options)? MT .. you're the guru ... HELP ME !

i think it was more gorey in single player...... are you sure there is no parental control option in there, or when you first started the game up did it ask you if you find some material offensive?

There is a parental control option when you install it. You can install full gore, minimal or password it. I cant remember if the default is full or minimal. I'm sure you would remember if you entered a password so I would guess the default must be Minimal.
There is a gore detail checkbox in the options under 'Scalability Options'. I would assume it doesnt work if you passworded it on installation.

I don't think I enabled the gore block, and I
certainly didn't password anything. I'll check it again the next time I'm there. Thanks for the suggestions

There might not be gore in online/MP...the mods often didn't include that. I know it's been ages since I've seen someone disintegrate under my USAS.

most servers run RocMod and/or super damage so theres blood and parts everywhere. I didnt pay attention on the FoS server to notice.

Well, I managed to get it going.
Although I have the game and was going to bring it over for him, I just grabbed a copy online and I guess it somehow had the gore disabled (no lock to click on, and nothing in the Scalability menu). I managed to re-enable it by adding a command to the game shortcut ("+set lock_blood 0) and then bringing up the console and typing in "menu lock". Yay dismemberment !
