I also agree with LoPo that no one stays up for 50 some odd hours with out some substance to keep them going.
In rare cases psychosis can cause this. This means you are out of your friggin' mind. In this case the rules change. But in most cases even people suffering severe mental problems have to sleep in a time frame well under 50 hours.
If you add drugs to it though....then you can have people who stay up for 3 or 4 days.
Also, you can be just fine before going on for example, a meth binge which in turn can cause psychosis and you will not sleep for days.
The end result is jail, hallucinations or as we suspect with this gamer, death.
What we need are the autopsy results.
I really doubt that they will be readily available soon. Korea both South and North are notoriuosly closed lipped when it comes to releasing news info that makes them look bad. Although South Korea is a "friend" of the United States it is a brutal and strange society.
To illustrate my point.

If you do a google search on this...there are dozens of sites posting this story.
The same exact story over and over. If we have a Korean or Korean American member here that can read the language they might be able to find out something. I went to all the major Korean news sites that are in English and there is nothing on this story. The source seems to Reuters
http://today.reuters.com/news/default.aspx.
This is obviously not a Korean source.
Best thing to do is wait a few days to see if there is a follow up I guess.
I did find an interesting site while researching amphetemine use in Asia though.

It's late so I didn't try that hard. I'll try again tomorrow.
