That's pretty insane, I thought I was bad with my 3-4 hour sessions sometimes. My question is why did no one stop him?

All this talk about him and nobody mentions a can of bawls by his keyboard, or his record in Starcraft.

It's true what they say about to much of a good thing.

Ouch thats harsh. Just goes to show ya always have food and beverage handy for such sessions. I should know. Me and my friends use to bust out every weekend of nonstop gaming. To this day I still have every map of Goldeneye 64 memorized by heart. Ahh those were the days.

Thats just stupid, I agree someone should have stopped him. I can only sit at a computer playing games for 2-3 hours max

Am I the only one who doesn't believe this?

ok stop and think about it.... you die from playing video games for two days straight... "exhaustion"....

Read this....

Quote:
The man, identified by his family name, Lee, started playing Starcraft on 3 August. He only paused playing to go to the toilet and for short periods of sleep, said the police.

"We presume the cause of death was heart failure stemming from exhaustion," a Taegu provincial police official told the Reuters news agency.
Try he was on something to keep him going... that just doesn't happen. Unless he was insanely obese.

There are people in certain professions that stay up almost as long and in more stressful situations....do they die?

Spooky needs to get to the bottom of this if you ask me....
