WOW Game players say Blizzard invades privacy

Blong, WOW and Diablo work completely different. With Diablo you are simply logging in and presented a list of people who have created a server on their own, once you exit Blizzard simply records your changes. They dont have nearly as much control. Also, you said that you couldnt log into battle.net, so that should tell you a lot too.

With WOW you log in, you're playing on their servers. They have complete control over everything.

Something like this has been happening for a long time with anti cheat programs. I think that the majority of people like it though, as it makes their gameplay experience much more enjoyabled without having to worry about something ruining it with cheats.
