I heard this morning that one of the major pipelines is back in operation. They fixed the power lines to it and it is pumping gas again. The Gov. of MS said that power is the major problem for the refineries in MS and they should be back on line as so as the can restore power to them. He said he had no idea what kind of damage the LS refineries had. So maybe the up turn in price will slow, but I doubt it.

A big whopping ZERO. Don't expect any more than that.
Wow, I was wrong for once. Not much being made of it in the press, but it appears that many countries have offered assistance!:

"In a dramatic turnabout, the United States is now on the receiving end of help from around the world as some two dozen countries offer post-hurricane assistance."

http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,168203,00.html

Hmm, I wonder why the US press isn't talking more about this?

Speaking of other countries helping us out, did anyone one else hear that Japan is giving us a whopping $200,000.00. Now I may be wrong but I swear thats what I heard on CNN on Saturday, either they were off by a zero or two or my cold medication affected my hearing, please confirm.
