Gas prices will jump another 10 cents per gallon tomorrow here in NC

The colonial pipeline will be 25-35% operational by this evening. Roughly 90% of NC gas comes from that pipeline. (Well, Colonial & Plantation pipelines anyways) If the pipelines were 100% operational it would take 10-14 days before any real amount of fuel reached us at our Selma terminal. Our terminal is the last "stop" on that pipeline.

We did close all but one of our stores today. By 1pm today, the police had arrested 2 people for waving a gun around while demanding gasoline. (SOAB). People are in a panic over this. Broken foot & all - I was hobbling for all I could today because I dont think I sat down for 15 minutes all day.

If you guys recall a few years back when we helped Kuwait out... there was this big scare about a shortage of oil... the oil companies tried that over night jackup of prices and Clinton said no you don't... if you do that you will be fined. They should not jack the price up overnight like that before they even know what has happened to the oil rig's. That was price gouging and we as the "dumb, oh well I will pay for it anyway" Americans we are just take it like we always have.

It's funny cuz around here I hear on the radio that if we as citizens suspect any price gouging they give us a website and number to report it. Raising the price 50 to 60 cents overnight is exactly that. That would mean every gas station in the country had a tanker sitting at it first thing in the morning at the "new crude oil" prices. Bullshit. And was has our great leprechaun of a president said or done about this? not a damn thing. Why? cuz his leprechaun hands are right where they need to be along with the other oil big wigs... getting rich. This guy rates impeachment already... from the war, to the state of the economy and how he has been handling the recent event down south. The guy is an ***. Period.

Yes, I did report the overnight as price gouging... but I am only one person.

Yes, I am very angry about this. None of this will ever settle. You watch. We are going to be living a different way of life from this day on.

Hopefully, now there will less people on the road, so I can drive my big gas guzzling truck as fast I want to. I fought in the first Gulf War so I can drive that damn thing and by God I am going to drive it.
