well its appearant you are willing to make this into a racial debate, reguardless of what anyone says or their point of view, so before I actually speak my mind, I will just say take this kind of crap back to the " other " bbs.

as for my comment on who waited a minute, it was in contrast to the joke of anyone actually waiting on aid because of a majority race issue. I have many friends ranging from national guard, active duty and even a customs agent who have been pulled in as of monday night, staging with their groups and orginizing the demands and supplies to take action. In that reguard.. yea, believe what you want.. your entitled to your opinion.. as is anyone else.

As for racism in america.. no ****! I have racism in my pants.. again.. take your debate elsewhere.

It times like this I still believe its great to be an american. We issue a mandintory evacuation, and when dumb shits dont listen.. its our governments fault! We pull in reservists all over the coutry.. ship them to staging areas in TX and N. Lousyanna to group in and then escort the supplies, and yet the lawlessness of the gangs and pathetic human nature on top of the fact that the majority of the law enforcement decided to turn tail and walk off the job.. its our governments fault.

I said it before, and it still stands true.. its pathetic individuals who think their government owes them something that makes this country weaker. Common sense and basic morales is all anyone needs, but individuals who recieve a MRE and then bitches because it was not a warm meal, indviduals who take advantage of someone less fortunate and uses loop holes like social security and welfare as their primary dependance.. yet its our governments fault.. WAIT.. I do agree with that.. if we would just get rid of all welfare and funding to the less fortunate.. maybe we would be able to comply to these other demands.

ack.. dont get me going.. its hard enough not to turn this into a persanal attack and damage the home in which this folks have made.. so I am done wtih this.. and you!

I served my country for 15+ years, and ate many an MRE along with survivors during humanitarian missions... I lived in a tent for 2.5 years supporting "Operation Provide Promise I & II" eating nothing but MRE's, and never heard a complaint either time. Ingrates, all of them, that complain in NO! I despise people that want something for nothing. Eliminate the loop holes for welfare, and put those people back to work. We have millions of illegal immigrants finding work here... they could take some of those jobs back, and make something of themselves instead of living off my taxes. OK, done ranting....

My original statement was shock at the rumor of cannabalism...it was someone else who brought up the comments this editorialist made about racism. Not me.

Funtowel, what you said, and what it seems others want to take it as is different. I dont get it, you dont even mention it, it wasnt even your point, but Rs brought it up. Whatever, dont jump on Funtowel when he was not even talking about that, he was simply stating that cannibalism could be going on.

As far as how bad it is in New Orleans. I think its funny how some of you act. These people dont have food, they dont have any place to stay that is safe, nothing. And yet you can do nothing but compare it to a time when you at least had a tent and something to eat and still act like you've gone through harder. These people have lost everything, it doesnt matter if they made a stupid mistake, you dont just let people die. The aid to these places is painfully poor. Really, I havent seen anything that I would even consider wonderful aid. Its been a week now, and yet it still seems like its just getting worse. Doesnt make sense, for whatever reason it is happening, be it racism or WTF ever, that isnt what matters, the only thing that matters is that its not getting there in the amount it does.
