All the folks being threatened by Hurricane Rita. I personally know that:

1813, LadyBuckshot and A7ESF are all residents of the Houston area. Roadhog lives in the Austin area, so I think he is far enough inland to be ok.

Last report is Rita is a category 5 and is being fed by the warm waters in the Gulf.

Lady,A7, 1813, you all have my phone number, please call and let us know your safe.

We've decided to ride this one out. We're expecting 70 - 80 mph winds and the occasional tornado, but at this point, hunkering down and being prepared is the best bet. People are still trying to evacuate but its taking up to 12 hours to go 20 miles and gasoline is in short supply. We appreciate the concern and will keep ya up to date.

Good Luck folks!!! If this one does not lose any strength before it hits, it is going to be nasty!! CAT5 is 150MPH+, well this is 175MPH last I heard which if the scale went any higher is easily a CAT 6

It currently has dropped to 165mph and expectations are that is may go down because of the lower water levels near the shores of Texas.
