Well? Where are the post War Stories? Did the wine and port meet your expectations?

The wine most certainly did. Very complex wine which seemed to change as we drank it. Very big wine though and needed about an hour in the decanter. The Port was something of a disappointment. A very nice Tawny Port but not a huge step up from the 10 year. For over $30 more a bottle 'll be sticking with the 10 year old Tawny Port from Taylor Fladgate.
I've come to know the manager of one of the LCBO's downtown and he is real wine expert. For Port he recommends the English houses for the Ruby's and LBV's and the Portuguese houses for the Tawnys. For a vintage port you really can't go wrong, expensive though.
