"This group took steps to acquire three tones of ammonium nitrate and other components necessary to create explosive devices," said Assistant Commissioner Mike McDonnell. "To put this in context, the 1995 bombing of the Federal Building in Oklahoma City that killed 168 people took one tonne of ammonium nitrate."

yea pretty scary. Hopefully there will be some more crackdown like this on other potential threats everywhere, not just Canada or the US.

Canadian troops still play a major roll in Afghanistan. We used to lower the flags to half mast when we lost a soldier, let's just say we've had to stop doing that or they'd always be lowered

Glad they are catching them The more people look the less likely they will be able to pull off an act of terrorism.

Same here, glad they got them. Of course, don't forget: the US-Canadian border is the largest unprotected border in the world and a heck of a lot easier to sneak across then the US-Mexican border (though you wonder sometimes)
