The last 1 Gman just posted was a real B52 crash at Fairchild AFB, WA back in the early 90's. It happened just after I left there. The pilot was practicing for and airshow and banked the plane to hard. I knew 2 of the people that died in that crash and the air traffic controller working the tower at the time

The pilot had a long history of being a hotdog and should have been grounded. There was a big investigation and it was found to be pilot error and the commander of the flying Wing was forced to retire for not grounding the pilot before this happened. Even the low level fly overs were a real B52, it is amazing that he didn't crash before that.
