RC plane extreme
Actually has 8 "real turbines" at about $1500 each! Took over 2 years to
build. It has a wing span of about 22 feet. Takes multiple pilots, as there
are so many things to control.
Think they were nervous during the maiden flight?
Unbelievable that someone would make this - all real turbines! $12,000 just for the engines !
Check out the movie link below to see the first flight. AMAZING !!

Saw this a few years back when I was searching for RC jets, pretty freakin insane.
You can also find some airliner replicas that are just as big and look REAL.
I personally would want the 6 foot F-16 and buzz neighborhoods at 250 MPH.
I always wanted to put a wireless cam in a plane and try and make an unmanned plane to fly around. I think that would be cool and then you wouldn't be tied to a small area.

compared to how much a real b-52 costs, $12000 is nothing

There is a movie I have somewhere of one of these B52s crashing that was built by an RC club in England. The jet engines and field set fire to a pretty good size field. As I understand it, that plane total cost was $50,000.00 to build.
I think this is the link to it.

That crashed plane is the same one as above. Same pilot. On that website if you go to pictures you can see the same exact one as above.

Yep, sure is. That was one hell of a nasty day to fly that plane on the day it crashed. There is a longer video somewhere that shows the crash aftermath and the field burning.
