ST. LOUIS -- St. Louis police say they've caught a serial stained-glass burglar.
The man is charged in a seven-month spree of stained-glass window thefts in historic St. Louis neighborhoods. He's accused of stealing 34 stained glass windows from 10 homes. Prosecutors said he might be responsible for more window thefts, but a limited number of cases were filed to avoid an unwieldy trial. One building owner estimates that the 2-feet-by-2-feet windows stolen from him were close to 100 years old. Investigators are now trying to determine who might have received the stolen property.
