But you must admit they are very violent dogs... Dont get me wrong i have worked with some lovely pitbulls, they are banned from UK now days only way to get one is to apply for a licence, and they aint cheap or easy to get, but thats a diffrent story.

I admit my first post come across as i blamed the breed of the dog, this was not my intent... in my line of work(dog trainer) i had pretty much every type of dog you can think of 'turn' nasty. Yall think poodles, are nice... there evil little shits

It's my belief that it's the breed AND the owner that are the problem.

These dogs have a potentional to kill,
and jaws to back them up.
There is no place for them in a family home,

Well, I was refering more to the having children part, but I also agree with him about dog owners. Lots of different breeds of dogs can be potentially dangerous. It's up to the owner entirely to be sure that type of dog doesn't cause problems. If you own a nasty chihuahua that likes to bite and you have small children, then you need to get rid of the dog. It doesn't matter if it's a Yorkie, American Staffordshire Terrier, or a Scottish Deerhound, a responsible owner knows how to recognize a dangerous dog and take appropriate action (this does not include lockiing your child in the basement).
