MOjave Road 2007 - pics & vid
Hey guys,

Earlier this month I took a road trip to meet up with some buddies from back in Orange County. We hit the Mojave Road( http://www.dirtopia.com/wiki/Mojave_Road ) for 3 days of great offroading. My total mileage from Reno was 1200+ miles round trip, though the run was about 147 miles according to my speedometer.

I busted my license plate up pretty good going through the water crossing at the end, water to about half way up my door. The stock Nissan Frontier I left early with, had water over his hood.

Here's a vid of one of the 2wd drive trucks getting stuck on a 4wd only climb. I will have more video as soon as one of my buddy's uploads me the video. He's got some great footage of me romping the Xterra in the dunes.

That looks like a great outing. That is my goal this year, to do more offroading out of the state.

My 7400 lb Ford could have yanked the little truck off it's perch

I have been on that road. It use to be a trading route for our Tribe (Mojave) to the West Coast back in the day before the white eye showed up.

Looks like a good time Lopo. I miss my wheeling trips bad. Someday I'm going to have to get back into that! LOL.

lol maybe, we tried with a jeep, but the angle that it was at it was too risky of rolling over down the hill.
