I don't know exactly who Rube Goldberg is, but I know about Rube Goldberg machines, which are elaborate machines to do a simple task.

that would be a lot better if it used actual physics instead of him just giving waypoints

i never implied he tried to pass if off as actually using physics, just stating that anyone can draw up an animation like that and have it work. it'd be a lot more impressive to me if he utitlized some kind of physics
