Attention Canadians and other hosers ...
Heading up to the UP in a week or so and on the way back I'm taking the long way home and doing a pseudo Lake Huron Circle tour. Anybody ever spend any time on Manitoulin Island or the Bruce Peninsula? I'd like to hear about any worthwhile POI's or places to avoid. Thanks!
Also, I was at a BNL concert last weekend that was just great! They filmed it for a PBS DVD so if you get a copy scan the crowd for me and the cutie I took.  |

The Grey-Bruce is my favourite area Clyde.
For sure check out Tobermory, do the silly tours of Flower Pot Island and the Glass Bottom boats,then do the ferry (that's a boat silly) ride over to Manitoulin Island. Very scenic area .. I love it! (If you're brave, Tobermory offers near ideal scuba/skin diving, but the water's pretty dang chilly)
