everything the geologists are saying is that the more time that passes since this recent quake, the lower the chances of a larger one following it. Of course they didn't specify the timeframe... meaning 3 days past and no chance vs. 3 days past and the chance goes down slightly.

Anyways, this recent quake was on a separate fault line than the one up north, however, it makes me wonder if there is some connection somewhere.

Also, it's been VERY quiet earthquake for the last 5 years in Cali, and that's unusual.

The only quake I've experienced was back in '86 at Grissom AFB, IN. I'm glad I got the experience but I don't need it to happen anymore. In Barney's world, the ground stays in one spot and doesn't wobble around although you can still sink in it.

You've got to pin a geologist down when it comes to time. To them a recent event could be a century ago.

If you've lived in Cali your whole life you get used to earthquakes. I know I have. I actually like the smaller ones now. They kinda mix up the day if ya' know what I mean.

Hmmmm, what's a guy to answer to that......

Hope everybody is o.k.
Lucky she is not my girlfriend. I would have to fly out there and kick some arse.
