For those with Xfire crashing problems (like myself)
Check out this thread:
Xfire
Other programs that "draw" are Trillian....
I'm posting this cuz I kept having problems with Xfire, I was trying to run it more often so I can find other peeps playing.
Oh yeah: please note this is in the "resolved" threads.
In other words: they're not gonna fix it for real.....

What if you disable game tracking for yourself and simply use XFire to see what others are playing? Seems like a bit of a rare issue though and there are certain things the Xfire people really simply can't do because of limitations in an API, etc.
As an alternative to Trillian you might give Pidgin a shot, it doesn't cause any issues with Xfire.

Yeah, I could switch IM programs, but I'm happy with Trillian. I had switced to another open source mulit-im proggy a while back and ended up going back to Trillian since it was giving me problems with one of them (Yahoo I think).
The other issue is that it's not just Trillian: I also use the ATI control center that is also a problem.
Thanks for the feedback guys
