compressors

man the compressor for my ac in my van was expensive. $970 just for the compressor. glad it was under warranty or id be going without ac in that vehicle. heck thats almost as much as my central air for my whole house cost. apparently the gasket seal blew and because my wife had the air on the whole 4 blocks (perty short period of time I am thinking) it burned up the compressor when all the freon leaked.

I had a feeling something was wrong with the ac when on cold start the ac would squeel. but that has been a problem in the 3 years we owned this van.

Me too. I know it is an import, but come on, not like a Mercedes or BMW.

try $2500 to replace a windshield. I doubt your kia cost that much to replace a windshield.
