because humans are omnivores, i eat meat & veggies & nuts etc.
imho, it's VERY hard (almost impossible) to balance out your vitamin, mineral etc. intake if you remove one of these elements from the equation
and (i like to think) it would cause problems in the end, which may be the case here
i'm a strong believer in a complete and balanced diet with exercise
the key is exercise
i'm no doctor or anything, but it seems people these days go on all kinds on outrageous, unhealthy and sometimes expensive diets to loose wieght the easy way, without working for it by physically burning it off

because there are lots of people who are so big they cant physically burn it off. I thought the same way till I met a couple people (one with a thyroid disorder) that cant burn off the weight with physical activity. The one with a thyroid disorder cant do it in any way shape or form. all she can do is eat right to keep the weight from getting worse.

Blong, the people with true thyroid and glucose metabolism disorders are few compaired to the number of overweight poeple out thier who claim to have a disorder. If I had a dime for every person who told me they were that way cause of a self diagnosed thyroid or glucose disorder I'd be a rich man. Not saying that all are that way, but people tend to use this as an excuss for being over weight or the way they eat. "I have low blood suger so I have to eat this enoumous piece of cake". Even people with these diagnosed disorders can safely lose wieght under a Dr. care. There are very few that cant, most dont want to follow the very specific guidelines for the lose with these disorders. I work in a clinical lab and have been told by patients that the numbers we gave them for thier lab tests are wrong and the Dr. is wrong. I even let one of them who was causing a scene in the lab come back and watch me run her tests on the machine and she acused me of doctoring her specimen. Some people just like to eat and dont want to lose weight. Blong it sounds like your friend is working on her weight the best she can and with her Dr. care I'm sure eventually she will start to lose as well and once that weight gets down a little to enable her to move around more she will lose even more
Back to the topic at hand, I now teach Lab technical school and we instruct on the bodies function and how each process works in relation to the lab results that we get. This helps the technicians understand why they got a curtian result and determine whether that result is possible. We are constantly evaluating our processes to ensure that the Doctors are getting the best results to diagnos thier patients. I dont beleave that your friend could have gone 8 months without a bowl movement and not be sick.

I had a girlfriend who had Chrones, was down to 84lbs and she didn't eat very much. Regardless, she, like everyone else pooped.
Disorder or not, eventually someone is going to get sick or die because of the toxins in there poop.

Yeah, I guess he's just pulling one over on me. He told people in his family though too... what a strange thing to joke about. Although he sleeps at very strange hours... maybe he does sleep poop!

You will die if you don't poop. Simple as that...the body must get rid of the waste. Your friend is pulling your leg.
