Depends. It's all form factor with the 81x0, 83x0, and 88x0 devices. Internals are all the same. Slow proc, small amount of RAM.

I'd say wait for the 8900 or get a Bold when it comes out. Bold would be closest to the 8830 in form factor. These would be the latest/current gen devices.

Think I'm going Bold at work and possibly Storm personally... unless I stay with Tmo and go G1. damn decisions. Wifey I think is getting the new FlipBerry that's out tomorrow(Pearl 8220).

I didn't get a say in the model, was just wondering what to expect. I have to say I love being back on the BB over that worst phone I have ever used (T-Mobile Dash). The only complaint on the 8830 was the side button defaulted to voice dial, which every time I picked the damn thing up I hit that button. Once I changed that all was good.
