I like it.

I agree it looks like the same concept Mac, but in my mind you're trying to keep the core of the game the same or it wouldn't be UT. A lot of stuff has remained the same from UT99 through UT2004 so I would expect that.

But your point is valid: this will appeal to the same people that like the previous game from what we see so far. I would think though that there are other things that they have not revealed yet that would be new stuff (like weapons, vehicles, maybe a new gametype) to attract new players.

They are adding game types that were not apart of any origional game they had but were instead add-ons by some of the independants out there. They, as the second video shows, are making the weapons more realistic although I never see the weapons cause it distracts me (wish I could turn that off in bf2 but im afrad of a pb ban if I do so). The way the game is played will be a combo of speed from ut04 and movement from ut99 as they are trying to make the learning curve not so hard in this one. As you see in the 3rd video they are adding new vehicles like that transport vehicle. not sure what else is changing other than some maps.

I'm not getting any video, just audio. Is there a plug-in I need to view this? Th web sight doesn't specify a certain plug-in or program like Quicktime.

I think that is all you need. if you had waste running you could get the codec's off my puter .
