I picked up an eVga 8800GTS 320MB yesterday to play with. Loving it so far. Almost double the performance of the 7900GS I was using!
But.......... There is a known stuttering issue with all the 8800's in UT2004 on XP. I didn't have any issues in Vista on UT, but I did get some stuttering in XP playing on the RH last night. I made a few changes per posts I found, and it seems to have helped a lot.

I haven't had any stuttering in 2K4 w/ my 8800GTXs, but I'm curious - what changes did you make?

I made changes based on this post:
http://forums.guru3d.com/showthread.php?t=230676
I installed the latest BETA Drivers today, and after that, when I ran "stat fps" in ut2k4, fps was in the 30's with the changes listed in that post, with no stutter, and when I went back to default settings in the ini file, fps was back up to around 288 fps, and no more stutter with the beta drivers.
I have all the Video options maxed out in UT2004, and running at 1920 x 1200.

Hard call - I think I might pick the wii - best console I have ever owned - my 6800 will do fine for now.

My 6600GT is still working for CS:S for the odd time I play. Sure I have to run it at 1024x768 to get the speed I want with my new LCD, but it still looks great.
