8800GT, GTX barely wins in very bandwidth limited situations. Not nearly worth the price premium. You'll be kicking yourself when the new 8800GTS launches in about a month that's faster than the GTX (and most likely Ultra for that matter) for a bit less as well.

Well, 2 weeks ago I picked up a BFG 8800GT OC 512MB, and it does run much nicer than my old 8800GTS 320MB card I had in it before. Running it on a Q6600 with 8GB RAM on Vista 64 bit, with a SB X-fi Xtreme Gamer sound card.

Not really surprising, more fillerate and it's not memory limited.

I'm ordering a 8800GTS 512MB tomorrow. ClubIT has a eVGA model for $339 which is only a bit more than what available 8800GT cards are going for. Plus the GTS has the dual slot heatsink, which means I don't have to worry about getting a 8800GT that has one of the small fans that are extremely loud and even then can't keep the card properly cooled.

I ordered mine earlier. :P Crysis for me included. I still haven't picked up my pre-order of crysis, now I don't need too.
